Composting
This year, the Clallam County Master Gardeners have entered into a partnership with the City of Port Angeles to promote the benefits of kitchen waste recycling
and backyard garden waste composting. With a grant from the Washington State Dept. of Ecology, we intend to educate the public about the importance of reducing the waste stream that crowds our landfills and increases our solid waste collection bills.
Master Composter training will be held again in the fall. Check back for details dates and times.
